Latchways have over 3,000 components that make up their fall arrest solutions. Each component has a CAD diagram and associated datasheet which is available to approved Latchways installers to assist in the design of project solutions. Previously these datasheets were distributed in printed format in a binder, and hence was a major logistical exercise to ensure evrybody's copy was always up-to-date.

C Force proposed a secure extranet which can only be accessed by registered users. This wholly database-driven site not only holds all the datasheets (which only have to be updated in one place); but FAQ's, photography, graphic files etc that are all of use to the installer.

In addition there are a number of sub-sites to the main extranet that are targetted at specific customers. These provide comprehensive online training capabilties (including streamed video sequences in multiple languages). The system built by C Force allows Latchways to track exactly who has seen what content and when; so they are able to verify that contractors have completed the necessary training.
